Hype for a throw goes down as time goes on. Typically, values stay at the same area for yo-yos since a few runs get distributed, and a run stays in stock at stores.
Unfortunately, the Summit Documentary put the hype for the summit through the roof. The exceptional amount of hype meant a higher number of initial sales for the summit. This means now that the hype has died and demand has leveled, there is the usual demand for a yoyo with an unusually large supply.
'Tis unfortunate, since I love a yoyo that now lacks demand. 'Tis fortunate, though, that the yo-yos lacking demand sell for WAY low prices. 8)
It took me several weeks to sell my Ninja Hurdles Summit. I sold it for $60.
Ledger is correct, the initial hype drove up sales. And since there were so many produced, most everyone who wanted one got one. Now the market is highly saturated with them so they don’t fetch much. Great time to snag one if you don’t already have one

I don’t want to sound greedy but I’m looking to sell my mint last run Canvas for top dollar but the color way just does not sell. I was thinking about sending it to get gold plated, what do you guys think. Would it sell then.
