Mystery solve no wonder I’ve not seen any others lol
Hello! I’m looking for an idea of what a yo-yo I picked up at an estate sale is worth. I’m not interested in selling it, because I think it’s wonderful, but I’d love to know more about it and it’s history. I’ve been searching the internet this evening and haven’t been able to find anything yet, but I came across this thread and thought I’d give it a shot.
The yoyo is metal - appears to me aluminum or tin. Each side of the yoyo has a different nude pin-up style photo that appears to be from the 60’s. I would peg the yoyo as coming from that time period based on the photo composition, yoyo material, and general condition. The yoyo has a few minor dings and paint chips. There are no markings on the yoyo except paint reading “Made in Hong Kong” on each piece of the yoyo. Each side of the yoyo is rounded like a burger bun. I don’t mind posting photos, but the user agreement said no sexual material. I wasn’t sure if photos of the yoyo were okay in this instance.
I think this yoyo is a great conversation piece and I’ll keep it regardless of its value – I just like to understand the stories behind the antiques I collect.
Thank you so much for your help on this! I was excited when I came across this at the bottom of a pile of yoyos; I’ve never seen anything like it.
Had never heard of such a thing until just now but I googled it and found what I assume to be the same yoyo on eBay sold for an undisclosed “best offer” with an initial Buy it Now! of $29.99.
It isn’t worth much. They show up on eBay frequently.
Thanks for reading the rules and not posting a pic.
1 of 5 brush stroked GeneralYo Magnum.
not sure what makes it different from the normal one
I’ve seen normal guys as low as $120
Would think this one if it had a box could go upwards of $200
Maybe someone with better knowledge of generalyo could give some input
The general-yo market has been down. Expect $175/250 depending on whom you sell it to.
OG Bushman Avalanche with box, 1 very light scratch. Trying to decide whether to keep both my Bushman Ava and John Bot Sas or sell both since I’d rather have the pair or neither.
I would think somewhere in the $80 range on the avalanche
They haven’t been very popular recently
On a side note I think the John Bot is easily my favorite edition of the Sas
Right up there with the palli puffin gnarwhal in terms of how cool it looks
How much for a Blue Trainwreck One?
It has Anno wear on the inside of the lip, and partly on the spikes.
Anno problems
Thinking $30-$40
LB Bassalope (black/grey sponge acid wash)
SB Bassalope (Bionicalope)
Wooly Markmont
Obsidian Markmont. Next.
all mint except the LB Bassalope that has a tiny flat spot. More stuff I like a lot but not sure I “need”.
Wooly Markmont I’d see as high as $100. I ended up having to sell my lightly damaged one for $60 though so keep that in mind. I think collectors would be interested in though. The obsidian Markmont next I wouldn’t really expect to break $60 though. As for the bassalopes I’d think $70 on the LB and $80 on the SB.
The market for general yo and CLYW is really volatile so I try to avoid giving them values since it really depends on if there’s someone out there after a specific colorway. Hopefully someone else gives their own input on these throws.
Fools gold clear view station cheif with 4 or 5 ano flaws and one pair of small scuffs
Thanks for the input
Probably around $60, maybe a bit more or less.
Ok excuse me if these have been appraised before! But I need some guidance:

Excuse the horrible whitebalance. Thanks!
Lol. Didn’t know you had an end kat. The worth of its pretty hard to say. They don’t come up…ever! I’d be in at 600.
Your custom Levi peak is kinda a tough one too. People are paying stupid amounts for them. I could see it getting 4-500. I recently saw a first run 28 stories go for 425.
5star is $110-150 (These things go up and down in price constantly depending on who’s after it)
401k is $50 (I’ve seen mint espionages go for $40)
Peak could be anywhere from $350-$600
Anti-yo lost a bunch of it’s hype with it’s recent stuff so The End isn’t as popular as it used to be but I guess it’s worth $600 to Dizzo
The people that were after an END have kinda left the scene and many people don’t really know what it is. The demand has dropped significantly for it so I just don’t think it’ll get what it used to. Even a gouda went in the $200 range this year so I don’t think it’ll do as well as people think.
That’s assuming all of these are mint
Oh it’s nice to see you around dragon hat man. I wouldn’t forget that profile pic~
I decided to give you guys a couple hard ones!
