Yoyo Appraisal Thread

You’ll notice those sit for some time. If somebody specifically wants that colorway they will buy it or else it’ll just sit. $75 is a much more common price for those throws

Thanks, this does helps a lot. Love the appraisal thread so much.

I want to get rid of these pretty quickly. What’s a good number to do so?

Orion - $30
Inspire - $20

I think you could get more for the Orion if folks knew how well it played.

True, but a lot of people don’t.

Part of the reason I gave a low appraisal is the finish. That clear ano over what looks like soda just isn’t appealing. The engravings are hardly noticeable and just muddy up the overall appearance. Plus I’ve had a STYY throw in that finish. For whatever reason, it collects dirt very easily and tends to pick up a less-than-clean hue.

What about a non mint (tear) in box Clareview Station SUMMIT. 1 of 10 2nd run.

Summits seem to be like the stock market… One day everybody wants in and then to the rooftops… I think once you have a mass produced, high level (hyped) throw it is too easy to obtain new. Don’t take this the wrong way I love mine and the one I passed down to my son. Look at the code 2 many produced still very competitive, yet resale of almost half after opening the box. Much like a new car.

Thanks. I was just wondering.

If you are lucky $85.

Summits people price at $100+ seem to sit on the BST for ages, even in the $80-90 range mint ones in popular colorways frequently sit for quite some time. I assume it’s because a ton of have been produced along with a lot of people looking at it as more of a OD than a CLYW so they’re only willing to pay the “OD price” (ie not wildly overpay).

Big Brother Yoyos Juvenile Offender-Very near mint (2-4 EXTREMELY small pinpricks; half the size of what you would consider normal for a pinprick)

BBYY stuff sits forever so I would expect somewhere in the $30-$40 range

Bump.

Looking to buy a spring edition bassalope.

How much am I going to dish out for?

At least $200

How much are RSLs being tossed around for?

I got $56 if I was mistaken for a rim rashed one…

I would imagine with 225 of them out there they should be going for about $125-150 Mint but apparently it’s more like $200 mint.

The first one I got had no damage and was a little oxidized. That one I payed $80 for. The 2nd one I got was Coffelt’s with a bit of damage for $56. That MIB one going for $200 is WAY too much. If I REALLY wanted it, $120 max.

The only SPYY I ever got that required more than $200 worth of stuff was a gold PURE with the certificate, box, bag, and original strings.

But with such a niche market, it’s really what someone will pay. I remember having trouble getting rid of my mint Pure Gold with box and errytang for $120.

Lemon yellow and raw GE with a few scuffs but nothing that breaks the ano
