Yoyo Appraisal Thread

Maybe up to $80 or $100 for the TFL if they have the puzzle box.

The bottom right corner/last one looks a bit big for an 08 888 to me so it might be a DNA.

What an amazing collection. I’d post most of that on the auction site. Some of those pieces have the potential to go crazy.

Is there a YoYo auction site? I was gonna just put them on the forum here, at least some of them! Or do you mean just an eBay or such?

Thanks!

If it were me I’d do eBay. You have a bunch, I mean a bunch , of very desirable pieces.

Hmm ok I’ll keep that it mind! Despite my dislike of eBay :joy:

You should totally post the Sebby Peak on ebay because I’m extremely curious what Peaks are going for on “the market” these days. The $400-$500 estimate on that seems really high to me, but who knows…

Best of luck on selling. Great pieces.

Peak prices have been crazy lately. Steve from SPYY listed a 1/12 lava peak that went for $725 not too long ago, and also listed a raw 2nd run that went for ~$580. Both of those obviously have the eBay auction inflation though as well as also being sold by Steve which gave them a nice bump. For an example of what I mean by this, he sold a standard SPYY Stryyker on eBay for like $300 through auction whereas you’d be hard-pressed to get anywhere near that for one you wanted to sell yourself, either on the BST or eBay.

Can anyone confirm what the bottom left yoyo is? It looks like one of the early BIST production yoyos. I think it was centaur but can’t be 100%

I can get more pictures to help you guys out, and as iv’e mentioned a number of times thank you guys for your assistance!

Hi @sparhawk … it looks like a centaur but it is not or rather it is not the production centaur nor a Cen Tm … neither of them has that flat rim

@WCMTWS may i ask you where are you from? (I also congratulate you for the beautiful collection!)

p.s. the spike is different too …

Out of curiosity, does anyone know why all my Anti-Yo’s, excluding the BSPs of course are solid colors? Everything iv’e seen thus far has them as two tone?

They must be 1/2 swaps then. Some players by two so they can have soilds. Those were also notorious for needing to be tuned, so switching halves could have helped make them less vibey.

Why would you say that now people will be trying bid each other up and drive the prices up so no one else can afford them. First come first serve is the fair way to do this with set prices that you all have generously helped the guy with. Why go to eBay where people play games and then you gotta pay eBay a percentage of what you make.

Quite simply because that’s usually where the seller makes the most money. Do you not want the seller to make the most money?

I’ll take that TFL it’s the one with ridges in the 3rd row and 3rd from the left.

It’s very possibly I end up going the eBay route on some, but they charge a ridiculous reserve fee cost now apparently. Like $14 bucks for a $150 reserve.

I think it is difficult to give an answer as rarely, in the last few years there have been exchanges or sales … I don’t think there are big differences in value between the two versions mentioned … personally I indicate the 130-150 $ … but given the follies, in my eyes completely unjustified, which I have been witnessing in the last 2-3 years … they could be absolutely wrong figures, since the “desire” aspect between those looking for and those who could offer can play a role decisive.

You shouldn’t have to make a reserve price on most of those yo-yos. I guarantee you’ll get the bids.
But if your gonna do the eBay route… I’d list them here first with prices and see what happens. Say the markmont sells on eBay for 500. You’ll only NET like 450 or less from fees. Im sure someone will take it off your hands for 450.

forgive me, but I insist on asking you where these yoyos are … and, there is something strange anyway …
who has 4 (four!) BSPs … can’t ignore what their name is and define them in this way…

Just as those who own Pure, cannot fail to know that they are SPYY …

and a Stradivari, it is a too particular and rare yoyo that cannot end up in the hands of those who do not know the things I have just highlighted … in anyone chance, the way I see it.
and also that Bapezilla painted by Higby, should be a unique piece … so it shouldn’t be very difficult to trace him back.
I would be so curious to see answers to my doubts …
