From a business standpoint…good question. Pepsi, Coke, McDonalds…every company will eventually change their look. The question is, when is a good time? I think since you’re new, it’s okay to change it, before brand recognition really kicks in. I vote…change avatar…no problem. The name and the feedback matter most. The avatar was never your logo, just kind of random. After all…you’re still a croc, so people will always know what’s up. Besides the avatar is a gradual change…one crocodile to another. Also…even YYE had a different logo in the past.
Speaking of rapping yo-yo, I have one, but it’s an Arctic Circle. It’s wearing a gold chain and a baseball cap. I might see how that looks as an avatar later.
I only changed your logo because it belongs to you and it’s for you Otherwise, I’d only tamper with my own images for the avatar library. As long as the person who owns the image wants some re-sizing…I’ll oblige.
TA, could you PM me the direct link of the small green crocologo? The regular sized is too big and I don’t know how to make it smaller. I feel so naked without an avatar right now.
Just click on the little green one in the thread…but right click (right mouse button)…choose save image, and then it will be on your computer. I’ll email it too.
