You will need to learn not to ‘attach’ photos, but to actually use the code to post them…
Make a Photobucket (works best<) and then upload the pictures you want to send.
Once its uploaded you will see codes, and links on the left.
Copy the IMG code, or the Direct code. If you do just IMG code (not [url} before the IMG) then copy, and paste it in a thread or a message.
If you do the ‘direct’ link, you will need to press the little picture button^above when sending/replying^ and then paste it in between the brackets.
If you don’t want to press the button, cant find it, or you fail at doing it then you can put the code in between this-
[img.][/img.]
MINUS THE PERIODS, DO N O T INCLUDE THE PERIODS
And that should do it, I never use the “attach” button, i’m not sure why though.
You could try these other sites, Imgur, Flickr, and some others. But I have found Photobucket to be easy and work best via mobile, and via the website…
Well, good luck. If I did not cover it all or it didn’t work, check out the “Pictures??? How do you post them???” sticky in the Unrelated Section of yoyoexpert forums.
Im not really sure what you’re saying, but, I do had the later photobucket update. I get all the iOS 7 updates gen though I can’t get iOS 7 itself.
And it wasn’t a matter of having an old version, I was just confused. I thought you were saying to put the direct link in an “[URL.]”, because I used to think I needed to do that too, but I learned it wouldn’t work and the photobucket “img code” is faster
I just edited that…didn’t mean to put a question mark at the end. But, when you vote for yourself, you get to see the present stats in the poll, so it’s not a bad idea.
I have some good ideas about how to make The Splash Game even better. One idea I’ll share now, is creating a little club of Splash Game contributors, and raffling off prizes quarterly or something like that. Or, maybe not a raffle, but giving away a prize to the top game contributors on a quarterly basis. :-\ I have some ideas, and curious which one you guys like better:
Give a prize to the top contributor on a quarterly basis.
Keep names of everyone who contributes and put them in a hat and pull a name out on a quarterly basis.
Hold the occasional contest…same as the current one.
YoyoExpert offered up some prizes for the game, so I’ll think of some creative ways to give them out.
It has been pretty neat to conceptualize a game, present it in a framework for the forum, work with YoyoExpert on the idea, and get the rules and photos in order, and promote it. It was a lot of fun. And, it’s the same as the business ideas we talked about. The same applies for a not-for-profit idea. From coming up with a concept, making it work, and promoting it.
I know you guys can tell I spend a lot of time thinking of names for my games too…Name Game, Shape Game…Splash Game.
