"You gotta flick your wrist!"

I always hear people saying to flick your wrist. But, what does that mean? What exactly counts as flicking your wrist?

It means when throw your sleeper, or break away, you snap your wrist back at the last moment. Think of it like how a bullwhip works. The snapping motion gives the yoyo extra momentum and spin.

Flicking your wrist means moving it from the farthest it can go one way to the farthest it can go the opposite way in a speedy way. Hope this helped.
