Me and some of the other birds from Featherspin and Shrimpgang PDX have been working on this comedy “docuseries” for a while now. It has been posted in the FS official thread, but I wanted to give it its own thread since not everyone digs into that one too much. If you like goofy long form yo-yo content this might be for you.
Neither Fish Nor Fowl is a deep dive into the lore of a small northwest town’s fastest spinning legend, Fish Bishop, and the events that led him to a deal with Featherspin to bring his Uncle Berry’s long lost design to life.

Episode two gets even weirder. Added to the cast are Lou Lanning (myself), Shawn Nelson (One Drop), Grant Wright and Grant Jumamil, with cameos from Chester Parks (NYYL), Drew Dominguez (Motion), and Laurie Hamilton. We had a great time visiting Shawn and David at One Drop for the machine shop scenes in this episode.
Episode three is in the works and we will be filming some small bits at PNWR next week. This has been a really fun project and has really expanded my interest in filming and video editing. Expect more of this type of content from FS and Shrimpgang in the future.
