Albany is about a 5 hour drive from Buffalo, actually. Rochester and Syracuse are much, much closer.
Our very first meeting will be taking place this Saturday, October 23rd. We will be gathering at the Crane Branch Library from 2-4pm, which is located at 633 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14222.

For our first meeting 2 weeks ago, only 5 people total were in attendance. That’s not really bad for a first meeting, IMO.
This next meeting coming up on Saturday though, we already have 10 people confirmed who will be there, and a couple more maybes. Putting up fliers around town has definitely helped to spread the word, and I am looking forward to seeing this yo-yo club grow in the coming months. After living in Buffalo for a couple of years, it is finally time to start building a yo-yo scene in this city. 8)

Just so everyone knows, our next meeting won’t be until NEXT Saturday, 2/12. We normally have two weeks in between each meeting. But because I won’t be here in Buffalo the weekend of PNWR, the schedule for February has been switched around.
