this is just a more tight version of mod contest, and if we’re sticking with JUST the designing part, the rule has to be clear, for example category classes for materials, there’s aluminium monometal class, the 3d printed class, wood class. Then there’s what determines who’s gonna be the winner, i’ll just assume there will be multiple category winner for example, most competitive, most creative, most most unique, and such. After the rules are made you need competitors, HOW?! who’s the target competitors for such a tight rule competition, for me this really is a backwards move from mod contest, just bring the world yoyo mod contest back😭, it’s like seeing a modified street car racing against purpose built racecar

I agree that finding people to participate would be hard. I for one would join but this topic is just a fun hypothethical one.
Very cool! It has always been one of my favorites too. It’s always fun to see my old stuff pop up, especially when people still like them
