Well that is pretty intriguing 
Just wonder how bad it would vibe.
I see this just a couple days after dropping 2 grand on a laser engraver and cutter. Otherwise I would jump on it. That’s so cool! I’ll be following this with interest, maybe it’s a Christmas wishlist item.

I think I saw Ed Davidson post that he is getting one for artwork on the pogs he embeds into some of his wooden yoyos

I wish I had the kind of funds needed to invest in this stuff. I’m sure I could find 1000 uses for it!

I’ve been eyeing some less expensive laser engraving kits, as much as I’d rather just pick up a Glowforge.

The glowforge did I indeed look nice. I ended up going with the xtool f1 + accessories kit for the air filter roller etc. did some research and it has an IR laser which is really good for engraving plastics including 3d prints, and a diode laser which is good for wood so it ticked my boxes.
