Good morning everyone! Long story short my brother and I recently picked up a couple YoMega Mavericks and got back into the hobby for the first time again since we were kids! I want to get us each a quality unresponsive yoyo for Christmas as our first ones but am finding it hard to know what’s worth the money.
Asking around in some discords I was recommended to ignore some brands like yoyofactory and was recommended a handful instead. Out of the brands I was suggested and and are within my price range these options I think are the most likely! Do any stand out? If you were getting your first and had the full hindsight which would you prefer?

Kinda depends on your goals w the yoyos. Are you looking for the most well rounded and generally best performing yoyo of the bunch?
Side note—best performing is highly subjective and that yoyo is going to be different for each yoyo player. A question to think about is like, what do you want to prioritize? Spin time? Hand feel/comfort to catch? Stability? Ease of landing certain tricks? You could think abt the kinds of tricks yall will be doing and what would make those the easier…or would you rather a yoyo that will make some tricks harder but help to establish good technique and pay off later? All the yoyo specs have pros and cons and players have to weigh those to find what they prefer. Kind of a deep question if we want to really flush this out…What yoyos will make yall the most excited to play yoyo? Tbh most yoyos now are very good and even the less prime ones are still very fun and capable of doing insane combos. No need to worry about buyers remorse imo hah
