Why you, yes you, should lube your yo-yo bearing

Quick question, can I clean my gold NSK like I would any other bearing?

I love the ringing of a bearing almost as much as the ringing of titanium.

Oh my, if you love a screechy bearing, I have another sound you’re going to love

Why they couldn’t make it a 9 hour vid is beyond me

Tbh I don’t like my bearings completely silent (finally got a yoyo tuned like that and it was way too hard to determine the speed of the spin), but I definitely hate loud bearings.

It is a lifestyle, granted, a very noisy lifestyle.

A very gritty, hair raising, goosebumps giving, spine chilling, sanity breaking lifestyle.

Haha! Yes it does seem a bit crazy.

However, it isn’t an absolute necessity because a yoyo bearing only has to deal with a very light load.

If you clean a bearing and run it dry they really aren’t that loud at all. And if they get loud, guess what? You can just clean them again.

I dont clean my bearings, I just lube them when they get loud. OCCASIONALLY i will run on under some water if its locked up or something/a steel plastic hybrid bearing, but thats it.
