I actually read this in the lobby of the yoga studio I go to and literally lol’d
Up dog is a joke I believe originated from the office tv show and it goes like this:
Person 1: hey man, does it smell like updog to you?
Person 2: huh? What’s updog?
Person 1: nothin much what’s up with you?

When I heard it, the reply was,
“Nuthin’ much dog, what’s up with you?” Adding the ‘dog’ in the reply helped people get the joke, and I’ve had a lot of fun with this bit. It’s been a couple of years since I’ve done it on someone - I’ll have to use it again sometime soon!

I remember first hearing that joke many years ago from a foreign exchange student - he was Sugondese. Real nice guy.
