It’s really hard to translate sarcasm over the internet by the way.
No, because Maverick sucks.
Not true in the least.
YoyoJam makes yoyos made of Celcon.
Yes they do.
They make innovative response systems, shapes and designs.
Like almost all companies still on the market.
They have the patent for metal rimmed yoyos.
Ok…
Most of their stuff is good for beginners, and or good for all levels of play.
Like almost all of the cheaper yoyos from any given brand. If it has a bearing, it can play great for somebody.
YoyoJam also is not about shameless self promotion,
Ok…
but about wanting to help new players get into yoyoing and caters to the people who do not have a hundred dollars to play professional quality,
Like Yomega and Duncan? I don’t see any YoYoJam yoyos in Toys’R’Us.
and yet still caters to the people who do.
Even though spending hundreds of dollars on yoyos isn’t necessary at all. Doesn’t really help anybody out, just gives people different feeling for yoyos.
I simply do not find Poly to be a nice material,
Assuming you mean polycarbonate, that’s just you. It’s a wonderful material and one that has worked, works, and continues to work well. Preference.
and I’m not a huge fan of the sound of dings, or how easy it is to damage expensive throws.
And yet you’re complaining about cheap Yomega metals and complimenting metal rimmed yoyos?
The Maverick and Dash are both great yoyos, no cleaning or replacements needed.
I’m not blaming YoYoJam or other companies for not having their stuff in places such as Toys’R’Us. I’m just stating that they’re not in those places.
I have the DM v1 and its awesome, and the DM v2 is probably better.
The New Breed is full sized with aluminum weight rings, and the Atmosphere is undersized with nickle plated copper wight rings.
There’s also the new solid spin yoyojams, like the DM2 and the Revolution.
Plus, soon to be released is the SR-71, the Phenomizm, the SFX, and maybe a few others.
I have the DM v1 and its awesome, and the DM v2 is probably better.
Not better, just different.
