Which fh model

I actually thought the NextGen was pretty solid as well to be honest. It’s a little rounder and more comfortable than the Modern Freehands with the step profiles. Kind of like an in-between of the Freehand Ones and Stepped Freehands.

It’s hard to keep the model nomenclatures from becoming confusing with the Freehand line, haha!

That’s a great one, glad I bought one early. Kinda wondering if I should have a backup

Am I missing something with the upgrade kit? It appears to me to be all the same parts that come in the yoyo stock? With the exception of the center track bearing and another set of spacers that are silver instead of black. The documentation on this kit is less then stellar haha. I put the kit in and didnt notice any difference in performance. Then I cleaned the bearing out. Its still responsive :upside_down_face:

Turns out im an idiot. The silver spacers seem to be a hair wider then the black ones. Its still a little snaggy but much closer to unresponsive now.

If you are wanting it completely unresponsive then your best bet is to put recessed silicon into it. There are plenty of tutorials on how to do it. Just search silicon recess mod. There is a whole huge thread on here somewhere dedicated to grey silicon. That his how i run my FH’s if i want them unresponsive.

Just giving my $.02 Freehand One is the only right answer :blue_heart:

Yodaddyyo talked me into getting one (indirectly on instantham) and I’m happy he did

Right on I’ll look into that!

I got the freehand one, it is quite nice!

The bearing in the upgrade kit, while not the greatest, also helps in making it unresponsive. The original flat A that comes installed is over-lubed to increase responsiveness, in conjunction with the over-so-slightly narrower black shims
