Where to buy yoyos locally USA retail outlets (real store) only

Dannngggg. If I walked in here I think I would lose impulse control and need to buy a 720 and a Recess. Other than the National Yoyo Museum shop, I’ve still yet to find a store on the west coast stocking yoyos.

Yo what is this?! My local smoke shops all suck!! There’s like half a dozen within a mile of my house, and they all just carry Kratom and Delta 8

Im always pushing to make our smoke shop the best, and fill the void of yoyo retail stores back into existence .

Do you carry fingerboards as well? Another great hobby for… those who frequent smoke shops lol

Ive got teck decks at one our locations downtown, 3 locations with yoyo selection, and biggest selection of throws at our broadway location. Honestly looking for more distributors for fingerboards and the magnetic finger boards. Also looking for more distributors for throws.( HEY ONEDROP, MK1, JAKE BULLOCK! :waving_hand::sweat_smile::victory_hand:)

Check out LF boards, slushcult, teak tuning, etc. they make entry level “pro” completes with wooden decks and bearings. Also a member here @GnarlyCharlie makes decks, CHKN fingerboards.

Slushcult and Teak are carried by Zumiez, I got mine at my local mall. It was kinda surreal to buy something like that in person, which I was looking at specifically online lol. Seems like a bygone experience walking into a store and getting something like this.

We have a few flea market/vendor mall type shops around here. Someone needs to open a booth with a selection of yo yos. Maybe me someday… If I were to be able to break even, I’d just enjoy unleashing more yo yos on the community. The last time I had a bail hearing, they did argue that I was a danger to the public…

Just remember every YoYo contest is a chance to buy yo-yos in person

This is exactly why I ball out so hard when I actually walk into a physical yoyo store. My brain cannot compute being about to hold and then purchase a high end yoyo lol.

Toys R Us actually still exists in Canada, but it is starting to fold unfortunately.

Do any of my midwestern ppl here know any shops in the midwestern area that sell bulk string and accessories? I don’t mind buying a yoyo online every now and then, but the consumables needing to be shipped all over the place kinda bothers me.

I’m in IL but even a WI or MN shop would be awesome. I go there often enough!

I’ve googled this so much (often leading to 10+ year old threads here) and it seems like just taking the train everywhere is my best bet at this point lol. But if anyone wants to save me a little tiiime…

Have you tried contacting any of the Air Traffic stores? At one time the Rosedale store seemed to be the go to store for yoyo stuff.
