Where are people getting pads for old throws?

I have a collection of pads and a lots of the older Chaz, dif, ir, and several others made for thinner responses seem to be hardening and losing their tackiness. I try my best now to not buy anything that can’t take silicone, but I see so many people buying these older throws. I think general yo and Duncan are really the only options left. What are people doing for pads in older throws?

In b4 flow your own silicone

I think he means like, stuff that doesn’t have a deep enough recess for silicone. Things that take friction stickers or whatever it is. I thought I saw people saying they use the Duncan ones but I don’t have any yoyos with this style of response so I’m not really sure.

I trim down Duncan stickers for my Dif-e-Yo, personally

general yo dif-size pads

I’m talking about anything that takes 555 pads. Half the recess depth makes it really hard for flowable to stick properly.

Have you tried pouring the silicone on thin 3M double sided tape? That must be how pads were made in the first place.
