The Mongu FHZ came out 10 or 12 years ago, maybe longer. I believe that was the first use of its likeness on a yoyo. It’s pretty collectible as far as FHZs go. The pics you showed are I think both Duncan products as well.

Yeah it seems to be super Duncan specific… and 2005 would be just about 13 years ago!

I remember when THE Freehand to have was the Mongu edition. I think only 40 were ever made.

Yeah, we had a few of those floating around somewhere. They had the full zip up hood that covered your face so you can be mongu lol.

Mongu is the hero the yoyo-community deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we’ll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he’s not our hero. He’s a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark(brown) knight.
