Past to the present, which throw do you think needs another production run to satisfy the masses or simply screw with collector values?

YYR missed the opportunity to remake the 10th Anniversary Draupnir (2013ā2023), but they told me via email that they are not interested.

Haha. I think you and I wrote them the same email. It was surprising to me that they were not interested. I think they could have sold a ton; at almost any price.
It is too bad that newer players do not have a chance to buy/play one. Cāest la vie.

I feel a big factor with any company that is making and selling products to the masses is that they donāt want to be stuck in the past. It seems many YoYo companies view their work as iterative, and they just want to keep improving and working towards their next newest and greatest project.
It is unfortunate because sometimes itās just done right and the people see it and want it, but the designers and manufacturers are always ready to move on. Also logistics sometimes dictate that that lighting in a bottle just canāt be captured again.
As a laymen, I donāt know why, but it doesnāt seem to be as simple as āsend the file to the factory and turn the YoYo machineā. There is a lot that goes into a run that more knowledgeable people can speak to.

I understand that. Lamborghini does not need to remake the Countoch. But we are talking about the Draupnirā¦

Iād like to see the Bapezilla made again. I was gutted that the Bape 3 didnāt get a proper run. The prototype was made and was ready to go but unfortunately thatās where it ended.
Maybe I should reach out to Elvin againā¦
At least we got a nice big run of a modernised The End which I am grateful for.

Most of the mentality is honestly i did that, Iām bored of that, I want to do something different now. Most brands the owner makes stuff they like and many of us change what we like over time.

I get that there are reasons why new runs arenāt taken up. For hypothetical sake manufacturing isnāt an issue. Think magical yoyo vending machine. What selection would you make?
I would love it if that vending machine could give me a brand new YoyoJam Speeder 2 in the pink-sparkle plastic. I loved that throw.

Spinworthy Flying Lemon would be a sweet rerun, lot of people never got a chance on those. Duncan GTR-JS is also not in stock anywhere I know of, and thatās one of my favorite bimetals.

Mark and Glen may not agree and may be annoyed with this, but I think the RBC could use a third run. Iād really want to see something like MK1ās Midnight Festival colourway on one. It is one that people tend to hold onto so it makes me sad to see repeatedly bumped LF threads for the RBC. I know I own 4, but I need backups!
And I know thereās the PLASM, which is also great but itās not the same. Doesnāt have the same durability factor. I would also be interested in a smaller metal PLASM, but it wouldnāt replace the comfort of the RBC.
Edit: oh and other possible colours could be a deep purple, purple fade, teal, and a dark red.
