Aha! I knew there was something special about it. I need me some of this foam, not too big on the case though
Just threw together this cheap storage case this afternoon, works pretty well
Was fairly cheap too, everything together was 10 bucks.
Gun case custom cut foam.

I should probably post pictures, but my case is a bit of a mess of string right now
I have this
http://www.sears.com/craftsman-4-drawer-metal-portable-chest-black-wrinkle/p-00965398000P
filled with the usual foam, and I use the top red thing for string, bearings, etc etc.
Holds 11 yoyos per drawer (10 normal sized, 1 offstring), 13 on top (12 normal diameter, 1 offstring)
It’s not the most portable case I’ve ever used, but it’s pretty secure, and convenient. Got the idea from brett

Mine is similar - I also copied Brett’s case. Only 3 drawers, though:

Snip…
I recently bought what they called a Shot glass display from Michael’s(a craft store), it was similar to yours, except there were vertical separators as well so there were kind of little boxes. It was cool and looked nice with most of my stuff, but my biggest yoyos didn’t fit right, so I ended up taking it back I’m going to be looking for one similar to what you got now.
Thanks for this tip Navy! I’ve been looking for something to hang on the wall for display for a long time. I think these are perfect. I’ve bought six now (only three hanging, the other three will go up this weekend). Curious, what yo-yos didn’t fit? I’ve not had a problem so far. The pics I’m posting are with the glass door open as the reflection with or without flash made for bad pic taking.
The first case pic is just me throwing things in the boxes to see what fits. The other two are set. (for now)

Here’s my new case. Take one eight hundred dollar Zero Halliburton case and two bucks worth of foam.

Is yours portable at all? Mine weighs about 30 pounds. Makes it kinda tough to bring to meet ups.
