What would you like to see come from Onedrop (hypothetical)

Fun (and maybe sad) fact: My signature colorway is Diamond Snail but it was supposed to be Purple base with yellow and light blue splash and the annodizer just completely botched it and we got the colorway on the Cascade. Here’s a pic of side by side with the proper Diamond Snail colorway on a Top Deck:

The sad part is that makes the brown one a one off mistake and probably won’t be made again

That’s really interesting, I wonder where the miscommunication came about, and it is a shame that colorway likely won’t be ran on anything else since it looks great as well

Would this one be called “Diamond Fail” then

I bought my first metal from OneDrop (a cherry red M1…maybe 2006?). Then bought a chocolate brown Project…many yo-yos have followed. Two have even been stollen, my kids took my Dang, and my project two. Oh well, keep playing guys. What is this D bearing thing I cannot put down called- anyway, been here a minute. Got my bluegrass fade M1 and my collection of M2’s, what I need is a new Novus because mine has been lost to time and I loved it. Also huge fan of anything with a d bearing (so fun) , and the nickel plates. Anyway, keep making great throws guys. I will continue to buy those I do not miss.

The M1 only released in late 2008.

D bearing? You mean the Artefact?

I would buy every color. I have six M1s and they were always in my pocket until CLYW released the ditch. Now they share space with those.

Yes- the Artifact is what I play the most. And yep…bought the first M1 when it dropped, likely off on the year.

I really like The Perspective. It’s balanced with differently-shaped halves. And it plays well so it’s not just a gimmick.

Given their further research into the “Dark Side”, Boosted versions, and other experiences since then, I’d like to see if they can go anywhere else with the concept.

DS-75 then?

I think the Thruline fits that bill. The only significant difference between the two is diameter

7075 54 g2 would be neat

I’d buy a pagoda-style Deepest State, but I’m not going to hold my breath.

Oh man side effect imperial shape would go goofy hard hahaha

Hardwood fixie

side effect that has this kind of dimple with a slightly raised edge like the mile high Gnome or mile hybrid:

more specifically, it should not exceed the diameter of the side effect like ultralights so there is no overlap on the hub like a flat cap where string could get caught between the side effect and yoyo half on a laceration.

completelt agree, the 54 G2 is already great, so a boosted would be epic imo

Now that I think about it, I was throwing my noma and 54g2 back to back today and it’s a similar hand feel to the 54 g2, and it has similar external specs. The response area is very different, as is the weight. The spintime of the 54 g2 is incredibly longer though. Really makes me wonder about a boosted version.

I should clarify, it wasn’t a second desire, it was a continuation of the first paragraph. Saying that their experience since releasing it could inform where to take the Perspective. I can’t imagine them making it more organic but they don’t necessarily need to make it more competitive. There’s more than one direction. I’d buy a boosted version if it happens to be that, though.

Alright here’s another idea, if OD collabs with CYLW, I request it be a SE yoyo, and that the SE looks like the CLYW nipple.
