I might have misunderstood you. See below for getting the top flat on a trapeze pretty much immediately, if that’s what you meant? I got my Spintastics Instructor patch so I gotta keep up on my CE credits lol

Thinking of this as my opening. Maybe not the joker at the end but whatever. Would this grab your attention and lead you to believe there’s more? ![]()

I know I should be practicing but omg I’m so tired from work today. Quick, someone email me some motivation ![]()
I would try to help you but I am too busy hitting myself in the face trying to learn the Bermuda Triangle trick.
I got my first spin top this week. I can get it spinning in a frisbee on the ground and I’m working on boomerang now.
Getting it spinning is half the battle! Welcome to the club
Nice! What are you throwing?
I got a Strummol8 Alice. Now that I can get it spinning consistently I’m having a ton of fun with it.
Aside from just how awesome it feels to get a good spin… there is something just amazing about that little Alice. It’s nice to see some new people taking an interest in the tops. Getting new tops recently has renewed my interest in them… that and finding a place to throw them in my house without hardwood to damage or deep carpet. ![]()
I don’t so much have a particular trick I’m working on as much as just playing. But it satisfies me.
Same! I like watching Dane’s videos, they keep me playing and practicing. It really is a hard skill to learn and definitely requires some skill and practice!
I’m claiming this as a unique trick (or combo). I’ve seen El tobogán into martillos but not into spider webs. Call me out if I’m full of
though lol. I’ll call it araña tejedora. It’s a fast half precession regen like joker choker, so you can keep on going
…
Cool combo overall. I couldn’t call you out though…haaaa, my knowledge is still pretty low!
El tobogán to Neff’s waves and NTH whip.
…
In case you haven’t noticed, el tobogán is my favorite element to normalize spin speed lol. Thanks @kevinm for that addiction
Nice!
I’ll try to find a video of me playing, I’m one of the few Brazilian enthusiasts of Spin Top XD
(No sound, sorry) This is a good opportunity to introduce myself on this Spin Top forum. My name is Arthur, I’m a former sponsored athlete of a yoyo and spin top company here in Brazil. I used to perform at events more frequently, but I quit and decided to pursue a solo career. I have more experience with yoyos than with spin tops, but I hope you enjoy what little I know how to do. PS: I’m also a cartoonist.
Amazing!
Pretty cool!
