USPS randomly deciding to just not update for multiple days when I have multiple packages both going out and coming to me.
Literally had this happen last night. Yoyo randomly ignored a bind, and ended up crashing to the floor, did not happen again the rest of the night.
Gave me a small heart attack too
I once took a brand new yoyo out of its box, admired it for a few seconds, and then threw the yoyo straight down into the ground. It was only then I realized I hadn’t put the string on my finger yet.
On a separate occasion I had the string that came with a brand new yoyo break on the very first throw.
I’ve had that happen to me but where the string was wrapped around the yoyo but not actually looped around the bearing

One of us! One of us!
Us, of course, being me, but “One of Me” doesn’t sound much better
Were you tie the string into a nice bow before throwing it? I’ve heard that helps (make the yoyo feel pretty as it crashes into the ground)
resellers and scalpers, but the kind of resellers that only ever buy to resell for higher price ![]()
Those are both just scalpers. Resellers is what scalpers call themselves to feel better and to sleep at night
I want to yoyo more but my yoyo muscles are sore ![]()
Me last night hahaha
my muscles are so sore so ive been throwing lightweight stuff like Asora v3 and Motion Elevated for the past hour. The desire to throw overpowered the pain lol
i looped til my finger hurt. so i put on finger tape and kept looping, but still overdid it and split my finger through the tape
good thing it can be a one handed activity with the good hand! but i feel your pain…or at least one similar
sometimes when I was young I would fantasize about being the lead guitarist putting on a show and playing so hard my fingers bleed, so tbh thats kinda badass to me
Sounds like the summer of ‘69. Maybe standing on your mama’s porch thinking it was now or never?
I agree with designing yoyos with bigger axels means the yoyo will stay tight and secure. It also offers more stability from what I learned. I think the YJYOYO designs like the Radiance 7075 and Zephryos 7075 are par excellence when it comes to specs and play but both designs are limited to 100 often sell out too quickly.. YJyoyo I think enjoys over engineering their yoyos often sell their prototypes. If they had more money to invest in manufacturing and distribution they would be considered one of the top international brands.
Watching a tutorial and thinking “I got this!” then holding the yoyo and instantly forgetting everything I just watched. Repeat five more times and then succumbing to just doing the same old combos that I’ve grown bored with.
I didn’t know I had telepathy until you spoke my mind here…
I usually break out of this by switching to 3A or 5A for a while, but lately I’ve been working on taking my usual autopilot 1A combos horizontal. If I know the trick so well and can do it so fast, I should take it to the next logical extreme, right? Landing it horizontally! (as much as possible of course, some tricks don’t translate/are impossible horizontally)
I hate watching a yotricks tutorial when learning meta tricks, too much yapping/explaining (not in a negative way) for me but mr matio was better (plus a overhead view for better look).
