What shape would it be? What are the colorways? How much would it cost? Also dissucuss, excluding Dark Magic, Legacy, Trinity, Dark Magic II, and Legacy II.
If they did, they would make a yoyo. It “would” be any color, likely yye edition. Probably around 80$, however I HIGHLY doubt this will happen, if so no time soon.
Yoyoexpert DID make a yoyo. In fact he made 5. They are the Dark Magic, Legacy, Trinity, Dark Magic II, and Legacy II.
YoYoJam made all those as a signature model for Andre Boulay… YYE was not affiliated with making them, they only distributed them. They have YYE editions, but YYE did not make them.
There is almost no chance of yye making a yoyo since they would have to by all the very expensive machinery… as for designing one they basically already did many times.
Making vs. designing and having it outsourced for production…
It would be foolish to invest in the equipment when there’s good/great companies like One Drop(among one of many) who can do the work properly, thereby reducing the ROI to near zero.
Now, if they were to go with a plastic injection mold, they’d have to eat those costs(which ain’t cheap), but they could simply eat those costs and have a company that already makes plastic yoyos(such as YYJ for one of many examples) produce the yoyo.
“Making it” is such a grey term. Putting all the resources in-house would be too costly and would lead to years of high pricing until things start to balance out and turn a profit. There’s so many better ways to do it. If it’s being MADE FOR YYE, then it’s essentially the same as them making it for all intents and purposes.
YYE is having custom anodizing and colorways done for them. If they wanted yoyos of their own designs, they know they have the contacts and resources to make it happen. In the meantime, the guy in charge has the Trinity, DM2 and Legacy II that he’s helped design all or in part.
Didn’t be OP mention these throws to be excluded?
The colorway would obviously be red
white and black
It was a play on words, Andre is the “Yoyoexpert” so YYE (Andre) designed them.
The site is named for him, if you look on the trick section it says, Learn tricks fast with the “yoyoexpert.”
