Wait. What is this?
@Captrogers
Sengoku - Electro Retro Combobulator Interdimensional.
It’s @GTDropKnot and @SR1 sitting side by side fighting over what bimetal is better in this photo
*edit I thought that left one was a hades. What is that GTR-JS?
That 28 stories is beautiful. I really liked the plain navy klondike but that 28 stories looks great in normal photos.
Grasshopper GTX but it does kinda look like Henry’s Hades because of the blue and gold lol. Both awesome yo-yos for sure imo, I love the GTXs heft and string presence
Afterlife, getting grumpy stares from Archer because he knows when I get home I typically grab a responsive and we go for a walk lol
Nice. I like the rounded out edges duncan uses on that and the GTR. Always wanted to try one a Duncan bimetal.
Haha, both great yoyos! GTX is one of the best value bimetals fasho
GTR-JS is gonna be your cream of the crop comp yoyo from Duncan so to speak. Haven’t tried one myself but it’s what I’ve heard from pretty much everyone on here, and it’s used a lottt if not by most Duncan team members on stage. GTX like Spence said great value bi-metal, you can find them around 50-70 bucks depending on where you look and for that I think it’s almost a steal tbh. But you gotta like a little weight and heft because it’s definitely felt at all times
Yeah I think down the road I’m going to get one. I seen new colors are on the way soon of the gtr-js. I’ve yet to play a bimetal. I’m starting to think I may like lighter yoyos after using the recognition so much lately but I also might just be getting bored with the recognition. In a few weeks here I should be good to grab a couple new yoyos I been wanting. I been fiending!
Well if you’re looking for your first bimetal then I’m just gonna say get a Klondike and literally look no further Not to say those others aren’t great and that you wouldn’t be happy with any of them, but man the Klondike is something else. And some awesome new colorways are gonna be hopefully dropping soon.
If you’re a fan of lighter throws, I have a Legato 2 from General Yo that’ plays more nimble and maneuverable than the other two, but it still maintains everything you’d want in a bimetal (spin time, stability etc etc)
Lotta love for the Legato 2. Any bimetal that has a fun-factor to it along with just being an awesome yoyo in general (no pun intended) are my favorite
