I bought the $5 six pack yos at Target. I plan on painting them and handing them out at raves or to some hyphie kid. I tried to capture the glitter nail polish I used.
They’re a transaxle and they light up, I half swapped this one and can say, These are decent imperials at .89 cents! I planned on them being just playable enough to justify giving them away for free but I was surprised at how good they play!
Thanks for your reply. Interesting to hear that. I always wanted a Droid because imho it is one of the most stunning looking throws I have ever seen. But after a review by StasisLabs (https://youtu.be/YCdq_Ju9bKA?si=GipW_oG0vHi22HE7) I am a bit concerned that it is maby not as good as I wanted it to be in terms of performance.
My hot-rodded beater Lyn Fury. Bought it for next to nothing years ago on a listing that didn’t identify the make or model. It arrived with a bearing that was rusted frozen. Maybe the previous owner took it scuba diving; I don’t know. Satined + RTVd + ceramic bearing. Pure joy.
I haven’t had too much time with it yet, but it’s a blast to play. It’s something I’d pick up to relax, have fun and try some new trick/element ideas with. I’m liking the shiny finish. Only my 2nd shiny finish next to my Motion Harmonic. It’s just a real comfortable chill experience. I’ve always loved Hydrangea’s color choices and the pink is beautiful. Ever since I was able to get a Magnolia, I’ve been smitten with them so I’m a little biased.

The engravings on the inside are Ukrainian buildings.
I bought this yo-yo during a campaign to donate a part of the money for every yo-yo sold to Ukraine.
I sincerely hope that this war will be over as soon as possible and people will be able to live happily.
Equanimity with a 28 wrap silk string. I am forming a love/hate relationship with this thinner material. Its sooo fine and takes forever to make 28 wraps but now that I’m getting a better feel for the correct amount of twisting to make a good string, they’re coming out really good. Right about at 15%. 10’ 7” twisted down to 9’. I got more guttermann anyway though, joanns had a sale! Maybe I can find a good blend.
DaVinci absolutely rips. I keep going back and forth with my new Klondike. I think I favor the DaVinci by a slight margin. It does not feel like a 62g yoyo.
