I finally get to meet my GFs grandpa today, and I say finally because this man apparently competed in his towns yoyo contest way back in the day, (hoping to find a picture or two and post with his permission.) On top of that he loves collecting Nickel stuff. I mean I couldn’t think of a better ice breaker than to bring this yoyo to show him. If we’re not best friends after today I failed lol

A lot better than I thought. Has that d bearing feel, heavy feel and very stable. This morning did tech and horizontal and performed well. The weight feel goes away but it has larger feel. Very happy with it and performs better than I expected. I have yet to play a C3 that isn’t very good.

Been throwing my $10 Skyline from the a-MAY-zing sale. Made a few upgrades and added some RiceStacks and a DS Platinum bearing. It spins forever with this bearing.

Nice, I am finally getting into messing with some of the more “b grade” b grades from the amayzing sale. Some of the stuff like the switchblade where perfect maybe there was some ano flaw or something, most just had like scratches or other minor stuff probably from being played then left around the office or whatever. However there where a few that where questionable and viby. Finally replacing bearings and messing with axles to see if I can get things a tad closer to smooth. The boss is one of those it was rough until I gave it a new bearing now it plays great.
I nearly snagged a skyline but waited to long.

That’s awesome. I had a bmx bike frame powder coated a similar shade to that inside hub orange when I was a kid, I love that color.
