In the first picture with the cap sitting sideways, it doesn’t look solid, looks more like a ring. Could you please post another picture of the cap?

It’s back on now so I cannot. The inner surface of the cap is shiny, it’s reflecting light which gives it that appearance from that angle.

I have a fruitloop currently and a cephas on the way and wondered how securely they are held on

I couldn’t get it back in with just my hands but a single bonk with a rim adjustment tool and it went back in. I should have maybe wiped off the rim first but I have very little issue so I’m just happy it’s playable still. Was scared the cap got warped in some way.

Ah Ha!! The cap popped off. I assume by accident by the looks of those dings. I too thought it was a ring.
