Kasm for golden hour playground time before dinner. Kick flips in the wind drop my land %age even below boomer level.
Was tossing my Kasm at the beach. I agree wind is the enemy
Honestly been throwing mostly the Kasm all week it’s been a great time. Love this thing. Need another at some point.
I have the pentagon model. Same advice. it can bust some knuckles!
Should I punch them before or after I throw it cause I would still want to throw it.
Awwwww lol thata cool
Not even in the slightest.
Hubstack afterglow after getting some fresh batteries in this thing. Parade is back at the park and while keeping an eye on my float after the parade ends I do a little side entertainment for the park guests, many love seeing tricks. This includes… DNA…
… And Godspeed (mine is more like God slow)
Have been enjoying this for a few days now… have been throwing responsive a lot more for no good reason and enjoying it.
This post escalated very quickly and i love it
Its wicked, the Weekender and Respawn are constantly fighting for top spot for me
The Weekender has been my top responsive for some time now, but the quality of the Respawn seems better to me and I’ve been reaching for the Respawn over the Weekender ever since receiving it.
Silly question here but how are people getting respawn. Not a yo-yo I know much about but I’ve seen talked about a fair bit.
Thanks. After giving it a little more thought, I feel a less violent response might be better though. If someone offers to let you throw one of these, take it and throw it as far as you can, ideally under a passing truck.
Instructions unclear putting yoyo in top of display case to not be seen again
I got mine of the BST here.
I’ll take two please.
been playing the THOReST exclusively since i got it a few days ago. decided to compare it to a grasshopper 2 (the ideal bimetal for me) this evening. this yoyo isn’t really talked about since I believe it was a spin gear exclusive, so I’ll give my thoughts real quick.
the less than ideal: the shape isn’t my favourite, the outer edge digs into my hand a little. the bearing seemingly has a very small gap on either side of the seat so potentially debris could get in there.
the good: it’s got a wider than normal axle. no idea why. i have to assume this will aid in durability. it looks good! brushed steel is cool and being able to see the axle in the hub is interesting. while it isn’t my favourite shape, it’s still a shape that is more good than it is bad. steel has a subtle unique feeling in play, it spins more than i expect it to. the performance is great, spin times are better than every mono aluminum I have used (outside of one), and very comparable to most bimetals.
the great: it’s my ideal specs (57x43). it’s heavy. i have already slammed it into stuff and you cannot tell aesthetically or in play.
overall it’s probably not my favourite yoyo i own in performance or feel in play or looks or comfort. but it does a good job of all of those things, AND i feel comfortable using this as my every day out of the house yoyo because it does all those things while also probably being indestructible.
more full sized steel yoyos on the market would be nice and a good thing.
