The Author is significantly heavier and smaller. Air 2 is full size and despite it being 53g I find it perfect and some things actually easier with it. It doesn’t require any special handling from me.

Spiky kind of day today. Initially I thought the Thorn would be more gimmicky than anything but I’m really enjoying it! Now to step up my Matador and catch this thing mid air (it’s not easy).
Also, had to throw in my diy yoyo holder I made last night

I have thought about it, and I probably will at some point. If I’m still not feeling it after a day or so I’ll try that. I don’t tend to like heavier stuff for 5A though. Tried the Collapsar for 5A and just didn’t enjoy it

Been jamming hard on these two the past few days. Just recently swapped my UL’s for flat caps on the black cannon. Still can’t decide which I like better… any other cannon users have insight on favorite side effects.

Klondike and Akita! Seemed right after seeing that thread yesterday. I think I’m team Akita right now but I’m pretty much a beginner so I’m sure I don’t get the advantages the Klondike brings.

I played the BC with disks for a while and that brought the weight up to ~60g. Just switched to using brass UL which knocked it down to ~58g. My preference is leaning towards the disks but I believe I’ve seen others with the brass UL setup on it.

Fingerspin caps are a great addition to the fh1. I also think it improves play feel. hoping duncan drops more soon. i have a bunch of yoyos waiting for them.
