I think we could all use this yoyo and it’s message lately lol. So being a dollar store yoyo it had a really cheap transaxle system in it that didn’t work, but I was able to actually take that out and keep the small tube it came with over the tiny axle to make it like a fixie, and now it’s semi playable

Early morning chillin with the Valhalla and some coffee, it’s already getting a bit hot out by now. Not tooo bad though. It’s gonna start getting real hot next week 
anyone traveling to AZ for Nationals, if you aren’t used to 110+ weather, make sure you stay hydrated!
I cleaned some of my strings this morning because they didn’t have any damage but were getting a little grimy. I just washed them with dish soap and dried them in the sun. Feels almost like new! The one on the Valhalla here is 8 wraps of silk which feels nice with a recessed ultra grey.

I’m not gonna try to sell anyone on it here (I haven’t spent enough time with it yet), but I will say that the machining is absolutely outstanding. The bearing post is loose enough that bearings slide right off, and it’s one of the smoothest yoyos I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing with. The slightly redesigned cup is also gorgeous, and I really enjoy how understated the engraving is.

When people or companies fall out of good graces with the community, many times you see people start to bash that companies yoyos relentlessly. Not the people, the yoyos.

I’m glad I ended up with a YYF whip instead of an XT as my first modern yoyo😅 The XT is good but I think the whip makes things a little easier. The first month or so of yoyoing I was waiting hoping to get a first base so I just used my old yomegas. I learned to trapeze with my saber wing. It was rough. The whip was a game changer for me compared to that, it was so much more fun. I randomly stumbled on all my old yoyos or I’d I’ve never got back into yoyoing.

Xt is nostalgic to me for that but I don’t do much w it anymore tbh like whip is better lol but xt suckered me in so it’s goated

I find myself reaching for this more and more everyday it’s easily making my top 5. If you haven’t tried motion yet you should seriously consider checking out the linear. I have only tried 3 of the previous releases but I can say that the linear has the same beauty, quality and feel at an awesome price.

Thanks for picking one up, @hesperaux and I tried to pour every single ounce of Motion feel and charm into a more affordable package for those who were on the fence about trying our brand. I appreciate you picking one up and solidifying we did in fact accomplish our goal. No compromise in quality or feel.
