Nice
Do you like Aquilegia?
It’s pretty much what they described it to be. An easy chill larus. Plays great but I still feel like it could use a little extra weight to it but that’s just personal opinion. Easy to control and it’s got a more relaxed slower feeling than the larus.
I’ll still say the magnolia is the best thing hydrangea has made.
why u use vic firth
those always break for me
Flashback to the early 90s. Just trying a couple StM’s on this before he goes back in the box of cartoon yo-yos.
Haha. I’ve had good luck with them, mostly using 7A’s. Although, I am a relatively light hitter.
I’ve also used Promarks, Vaters and some zildjians in the past. Just ended up with Vic Firth these days.
What’s your preferred sticks?
I love the color palette of this photo.
What yoyo is that?
Doc Pop version Thing
Really been loving heavy throws lately so naturally these old school catch 22s have been hitting the spot
Made it back from vacay and started tossing these two. I low key had heavier yoyo withdraw like I really missed throwing these two. Tossing them again just confirms my love for them. They will still return off the tiniest bit of spin dust and hades has recessed ultra grey but will creep back up when the bind catches anyways because it’s got the heft to fight back against gravity. (I think at least like I’m not certain why it goes back up off so little power but it does and that’s sick) They crank out so many extra revolutions when they’re at that super low rpm point it’s ridiculous. They both feel so so good and maybe it’s because they’re my most expensive yo-yos that I’m biased, and I certainly am, but they’re amazing. It’s a true shame that there are not more affordable and still good feeling Yoyo options at heavier weights.
I like the ASTer a lot, it’s my 5A beater. Just can’t get behind the Hades for some reason.
Anyways, ANGLAM PNCL for me today.
Oh man, this photo needs to be in the Yoyo Photography thread. So freakin‘ sweet
