I love the Mowl Surveillance. I have two, in fact. But I always wished they would release a red one with silver rims. Unfortunately, Mowl is the company with some inexplicable aversion to silver rims on their bi-metals.

I think the reason for this, especially on the newer 7075 version of the Mowl Surveillance is that they blast the rims. Raw metal just doesn’t hold well with blasting. As for the old version, I have no idea. Do you have the newer Mowl Surveillance?

Ah I see, the specs have been updated to be lighter though. Thought maybe you could do a comparison haha. I prefer the engraving on the old ones much more but I just want any surveillance at this point.

Finally managed to snag a Slim Dunk off the fb BST group. Now I know why they are so hard to get a hold of. Amazing yoyo, slimmest unresponsive I own but it doesn’t play like that. So pumped about it that I actually ordered a Slam Dunk the other day just based on the fact that this one is so amazing, and that will be my very first bimetal. Thanks Jake Bullock, great yoyos sir.
