The Turbo Bumblebee I ordered arrived today! It is in its original condition as the seals on the case have never been broken and it has never been touched. Begs the question: Should I break the seals and open it and enjoy? Or, should I leave it sealed as a collector’s item? I have wanted one for over 20-years but wouldn’t want to ruin the collectible value. What are your thoughts?

I read your post incorrectly. Maybe try to find a used one to enjoy so you can keep this one sealed as it is truly Mint in Box unlike lots of other used yoyos being called and sold as MIB.

Is the string a goldilocks or thicc? I’m trying to decide between the two, and the string you have there looks perfect.

He claims it is a slicc string, but it sure looks a lot thicker than that in the picture. Looks like a thicc string to me.

It’s the thickest version of the Slicc 100% nylon. I just got the sampler pack of Slicc so I could compare the three weight options. I’d say the Goldilocks is similar to regular kitty string in terms of thickness during play. At rest it looks thicker.

But the Dummy Thicc strings (like the orange one in the photo) are very thick.

I’m in the middle of trying to figure out if I like the thicc better than Goldilocks. I’m really not sure. I’ve been really happy with the Goldilocks on a different yo-yo, but I like this thicc string on the MCMO. I’ll probably end up getting some of both.

The BadWolfCo site recommends the Dummy Thicc if you like “throwing ropes.” Haha… From that picture of the MCMO, I think the word “rope” is more apt than “string.”

Imo the thicks are too thicc, the slims are basically stupid slim, but fortunately the goldilocks is right in the sweet spot of normal thickness nylon. Going with the theme, the thick is obese, and the slims are anorexic. Id love to see some chubby and skinny versions as these would be more versatile and less of a gimmick.
