Fedex was quick and brought my Baby today. I’m loving it!
That’s very sharp, what is it?
I just got the Baby by Petr Kavka. Somehow FedEx managed to get it here (Florida) from the Czech Republic in only 4 days!
Oh I thought you were using baby in an affectionate way, lol.
I thought the exact same thing
A fellow old school enjoyer i see, theres dozens of us!
I traded for an Udon Bowl from @hesperaux and they were nice enough to not only spin some poly/nylon hybrid strings to include, but also 3D printed a great little astro counterweight they had designed. I really love mail days that have super generous and unexpected extras included.
El Mijo by @jeduardo
Enjoy!!! @Eric_Newlin
@RC_yo-yo is a fantastic dude. I traded him a broken Harbinger (snapped the axle in two) along with some extra strings and a homemade dyed plastic I did in exchange for one of his homemade yoyos. A couple weeks later I receive a Christmas present with a note labelled “Merry Christmas!”: the Spinworthy Harbinger.
The patina is real, and the feel is fresh
Yes! Resurrected? I hope he posts about how he did that! Probably just careful drill and replace. Maybe drilled on a lathe?
You’re welcome. Glad to help. Thank you for all the goodie’s.
Yeah I drilled it on the lathe.
This one… this one right here. Its amazing how fast and precise it is. Where I want it, there it is. But goes with the speed I push it and doesn’t speed up on its own, if I want slow then no problem🐌. I don’t have many V shapes, so its such a nice change of pace. So smooooth and fun!
Plus the coolest matching sticker
Thanks, Rob. Its great you could get this done for @eternalmetal. That saves on him waiting for horrendous postage times to Australia and back.
Props, by the way. The concept of an axle replacement is simple, but to do it properly is a whole other matter.
That was my first time trying one of your yo-yos. Amazing how smooth it is
