Thank you for your answer.
I disagree with your analysis, as I don’t see any more atmosphere than other molded plastic yoyos and find it to have very respectable spin times.
It is true that when using hubstacks it is very noisy but I do not see where the problem is and I do not understand what the bad implementation of hubstacks can be as they are made on turned brass supports that also act as a bearing seat … when often the plastic yoyos, often more famous, have bearing seats obtained from the molding of plastic … bad solution, to be avoided like the plague in my opinion and which, coincidentally, also the Sage you indicated has (after all nothing else is that a YYF).
I point out that the Sage you indicated, with shipping, costs practically 4 times the K1, for that money I would certainly prefer the K2 Crystal.
But the world is beautiful because it is varied, except that I would be careful to judge “garbage”, in such a disrespectful way, an object that does, no more and no less, what it has to do.
This set of throws from Eric at Fair Trade Yo-Yos. They are amazing I have received the Project Y Ti yesterday and I have not posted about any of these so here it goes.
138 half and half graveyard tan yellow and O+ blood colors has M1, Yelets size and profile with a small drop off the response system similar the prescription but smaller. Really is a comfortable throw for EDC that can do what needs to be done. PunkRock style.
Project Y Ti ( I call it Project TiY I like the way it looks ) do not tell Eric. The finish on this one
feels like the diamond finish on the Tin Man with out the fuss and expense of diamonds. Project TiY is powerful, and has a great feel in the hand, will be a great addition to any collection. It can do, all I can throw at it.
OG Project Y zippy fun the throw just want to be in your hand doing tricks all day. Made to be played and is a different throw from the Ti version having both is really fun to see the difference in play. I am not sure if there are differences physically other than material Al vs Ti Eric would be the all knowing on that.
PV 44, this one I have a soft spot for, it is similar to the Oxygene Oxy5 red, but better IMO believe it or not. The throw is bigger diameter, Feels lighter that the Oxy 5 but yet powerful. The cut back side walls allow for different play feel that I enjoy.
Great job Eric these are a power house of throws.
I need to pic up one of the Fair Trade Yo-yos wood throws the only one I am missing.
These are my personal impressions of these throws ability, opinions and experiences may differ.
By some small miracle I was able to procure a second OG Stargazer recently. This one in almost perfect condition. I honestly didn’t think mint versions of these existed anymore.
I always wanted to half swap these bad boys when they first came out. I was in college and broke af at the time, so that was simply a pipe dream that couldn’t materialize. Accomplishing it all these years later is incredibly satisfying.
Still the best yoyo ever made in my humble opinion

so used to seeing it in its classic livery that in a “monochromatic version” I wouldn’t have been able to recognize it if you didn’t say it.
Congratulations on making your distant wishes come true … never put limits on providence!
Thank you, Eric’s designs look good in half swap. He hooked me on the look of Half Swaps with a Sudo green and brown he had I am sure he still does. He had laying next to a throw I was looking to buy off him. That is why I have a brown and green half swap PV44. Because I could not get his Sudo. That started it all. Feathers gotta love them. I love this forum.
Got this Hydrangea lisianthus today! I’ve been looking forward to this guy for awhile and I’m honestly pretty surprised by it. While being on the heavier side at 68g it doesn’t play like a brick. Kind of the opposite of that really. Also pretty much all Hydrangea throws have had pretty decent vibe but somehow they finally figured out a good system. This has a touch of fingernail vibe but I can say it’s smoother than all of their previous models. It’s very surprising to me that they figured it out on a full size steel yoyo.
Got a Parthenon proto from Throwing Sideways! A gram heavier than the production runs, and I love it! Gonna give it a crappy paint job, lol. Feels so good all around.
Nice looking steel yoyo. Been wanting to try a full sized steel yoyo, but missed the yoyoempire thorest. I saw this one, but its not in the budget at this time.
CandyBlast from the past arrived from Germany today. ILYY Falcon (2011)
I only started yoyoing a year ago, so for me it’s not a “throwback” technically, but damn is this thing nice. The blast is like nothing I’ve ever felt. Grinds for days
Well after a week in shipping, they finally arrived! Got a rad looking C3 yoyo design Radius Nexus and a YYF Airwave on the cyber Monday sale. Excited to try my hand at 4a and hopefully get good at it.
