Can I ask you how you like the gap width on the Borealis? When I saw it was only 4.3 I got turned off. I almost, almost, almost pulled the trigger but the gap seemed too narrow for me as I am not that perfect yet.

hmmm, ive found that its actually a really forgiving yoyo, not sure if the way Zach and the CLYW team designed the weight distribution, but ive never felt like its not “easy” to play. I actually own two of them, and the first run was so good i was quick to buy one again this time around! I personally recommend it, its a good mix between something relaxed, but still trick oriented. Its a pretty traditional H shaped yoyo, so gap width is made up by the overall wide shape! … long story short, I dont think it would disappoint you, better to give it a go while theyre still available Hope that helps

My @Markmont Black Canon arrived the other day and I am SUPER stoked on it - it has really surpassed my expectations. The best way I can describe it is that it’s everything I wanted and more but just couldn’t seem to get from my Deep State/Deeper State. While I still love those throws for what they are, this was EXACTLY what I have been looking for, for a few reasons. I’m seriously blown away by how “solid” it feels for its size, and I’m loving how unresponsive and not snaggy it is. I appreciate how it can just take any of the tricks I throw at it, whereas with the Deep(er) States I felt like I had to hold back a little/be cautious with what I was doing. It feels great to have a throw this size (and specifically, this width) that I feel completely unrestricted by. This is definitely the perfect pocket throw IMO, and I’m already looking forward to making it my EDC.

You roll your deep and deeper states unresponsive ?

I have before (no shims or anything, just lubed CTX’s) but they’re just stock at the moment, so kinda half responsive, half unresponsive as OD themselves describe it. The Deep State is definitely more responsive than the Deeper State though. Black Canon hasn’t snagged on me even once, and I’ve put some real hours on it already. Also @Lido I know you were asking about some comparisons between the three recently, check out my post above.
