In my opinion, the original MC definitely has an airy/lighter feel that lends to its ability for rapid and effortless redirection. The MCMO while very similar is a bit more powerful and stable and in a trade-off, has a little less light/airiness. I find it a little more reluctant to change direction abruptly.
