Well this may not count as in the mail thingy but I’ve got a X-ConVict for FREE! Yes free. And this happened like this:
Last week I brought my PGM to school, at around second break (which is at 9.30) I was in front of my class, doing some tricks with it. Then my friend X (I don’t want to give his name) came, saw me and said “I have a yoyo which I don’t use. O can give it to you if you want.”. And I got info on yoyo. It was a YYJ X-ConVict. For next 2 weekdays he forgot to bring yoyo. At the 3 day (a.k.a. yesterday) he didn’t forget and gave it to me. It was good for its condition, but it could be better. So I’ve made things that neede to be done, like switching response system. It is tug responsive, for now I think.
And my yoyo looks like this (but a bit beaten up):
Magic Yoyo T5 and N12. They are absolutely superb.
Also got, on eBay, an old YoyoJam Matrixx that had a special violet and white paint job, and specially-made “Buzz On” caps. Unfortunately, there was a TON of rust on the axle and the holes they go into, and the bearing had a few rough patches. Still works, but disappointing.
Today brought two very special items one from the General and the other from One Drop I’m honored that I got these each for different reasons but the Chik! You’ll understand in a few weeks.
Got some YYSL Venom, first thought is that I like it but I need more time with it. Plays a little faster than Type X which is fine. Hoping it won’t suffer from the string tension issues I always seemed to have with Dragon string.
Some 10balls to throw in yoyos I throw a ton that were running stock bearings (with a couple leftover bearings for new acquisitions)
Some difpads for an experiment that was a success.
Bad news that out all purchases in hold indefinitely came in the (e)mail this week there is a possibility it will work out ok but it just didn’t seem hopeful.
