It’s back! YYF replaced one of the two Wide Angles I was having issues with, and also sent me like 10 pads and a bearing for my inconvenience. This one is incredibly smooth.
Now I’m waiting to see what YYE says about the yo-yo I sent them which was worse than the one that YYF replaced. I also have a Retic Death Adder v2 coming soon.
I like Dimension 51 (I think that’s the top-right in your case), and they are well executed, but I agree with @Durfee that the rest are disjointed color combos. I’d love to see the skill of application applied to more cohesive pallets. Went with black because the one splash I like from them is ALWAYS sold out first.
Define “work together well”
They all have unique colors that compliment each other in their own unique way. I dont really see what the deal is they look as good as any other ano
Regardless of what you think about MonkeyfingeR color combos, their ano techniques and methods are head and shoulders above almost everyone else. Although they have gotten some competition as of late
Color theory is used by artists when creating new pieces. They don’t just pick random colors they like. Complimentary colors, warm colors, cool colors, analogous colors etc… are all factors to consider when creating something with color.
It’s not as simple as I think these colors would look cool, I’m going to use them.
Basically the number of steps involved. There’s a lot that goes into them. I get where you’re coming from though, most of my yo-yos are solid, and I don’t usually care for busy colors, but I worked with anodizers at a previous employer (totally unrelated to yo-yos) and I can appreciate the work that goes into what they do
