What did you get in the mail, 2026?

I believe the Cloudfly is identical to the Zeekio Vali. If so, one of the best mini yoyos ever imo. I love mine!

Been looking to add a G2 Decade to my collection for a long time. Size and specs seemed right up my alley. Never thought I’d actual track down one in this colorway though. So stoked for this!

Yep! A lot (not all) of Zeekio’s releases are rebrands of YoYoEmpire, and the Cloudfly and Cloudfly II were released here as the Vali and Vali II.

I’m really loving it so far, and it did a great job of filling a niche in my stainless steel collection. Although it wasn’t my intention when making any particular purchase, it’s now a pleasing progression of full-sized-to-micro.

Do you have a recommendation for a solid starter yoyo? I’ve been debating buying a handful of k2 Crystals to keep with me so I can give them to kids or new hobbiests locally I run into! I figured the k2 may be best because it’s a cheap plastic model that comes with the both the responsive and unresponsive set ups, I’m loving how kind this community seems to be! I’m only two months into throwing

Topyo - faceless, C3 - Speedaholic xx, iyoyo - shooting star, yoyofriends - Rio. The crystal you listed isn’t bad, any magicyoyo would do well for starting

I started a thread on this, I would say butterfly XT or yyf whip, your choice. Both are responsive, cheap, and stay responsive for 3-4 + hours of straight play. You can add a touch of grease to the bearings so they stay responsive almost indefinitely, but too much makes it play more like a fixed axle.
The K2 isn’t bad, but in my experience after a hour or 2 of straight place it plays semi unresponsive because of the flush pads and the lube gets worked out of the bearing.

sorry for the late reply I’m out for some work travel at the moment. These are new prototypes which we are testing.

One is 51mm in diameter and the other is 56.5mm

Fantastic photo! It’s beautifully lit (with natural diffuse light), and the setting and composition are perfect for that yoyo. Well done.

Aurora… Borealis? I felt the call on this one, beautiful engraving and the specs are right along what I usually like. I’m not even gonna throw it with these pads though, I can already tell it’s gonna drive me crazy. Straight to ultra grey!

This beauty came in the mail today! My first upgrade from a Monometal, beyond excited to get to using it! (Only bummer is they sent me 1 extra bearing not the 5 I ordered  but hey it’ll be perfect with the back up till I get the others)

Here’s what I got in the mail yesterday from @Adrielecc.

The round nut looks a little silly, maybe I’ll try and find a hex nut for it. Anyone know what kind of nut I should look for that’d be the right size?
