I bought my kids one each and they never use the darn things. I could probably dig them up.
I probably could figure something out
I did think of this as I was typing about wanting a squishy yoyo I want squishy all around, not just squishy rims lol
FirstYo is a surprisingly capable fixie though. Just don’t accidentally bump the rims while playing or it’s coming to a dead stop haha
I wish mine was as squishy as the first base. I had to carefully balance squish with functionality on that one since the entire thing is TPU rubber so it does have squish, like it’s a really soft catch, but it isn’t as squishy fun as like these Asora caps I made which I can squish on all day.
If you have any interest in fixed axle and haven’t checked out Davidson Lathe Craft @DLC, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Ed Davidson is turning out TONS of unique, one of a kind yoyos. The unboxing experience is fantastic. I was not expecting all these extra gifts. As far as I knew, I paid for a yoyo and that was all I expected to receive. I love the yoyo box. Love the coins and poker chip. Love the yoyo stand and dog tag.
Thank you, Ed! This really made my day. And it plays wonderfully. A little on the heavy side, but, after discovering the Duncan wheel fixed axle yoyo, I’m finding I enjoy the extra weight. Great for playing in the wind, which I do a lot lol
Dude! That’s beautiful.
I have a saber raider coming in the mail today I’m so stoked!!! My favorite YoYo growing up!!!
Mine is a Fireball Saber but I put modded 720 guts in it. I love it. It’s responsive enough to do stalls with no problem yet forgiving enough to do double or nothing and roll out to trapeze and fly away return without snagging. And boy does the starburst scream out in agony while it’s happening too.
If you sell squishy FH caps I’m definitely buying…
This hadn’t even dawned on me. Totally!
I don’t sell anything because I don’t want to turn my hobby into a business and suck all the fun out but…

I try to make all my designs open source so people with 3d printers can make their own of anything I design.
-
If someone doesn’t have access to a 3d printer sending a pair of squishy caps would just cost me a postage stamp and a few cents worth of material. So if anyone isn’t picky about color, is willing to be patient and wait on me to get around to it, and wants to dm me, I will happily mail a pair of squish caps in a random color.
Got my throw yo @rkalajian emulsions (blend), nectar (cotton) and serums (nylon) along with a squishy cw and some awesome stickers.
@AudreySickburn makes some beautiful yoyos. Such creative designs, and do not let the unique shapes fool you, these spin true.
I’d also like to mention the material they print with and the likely top of the line printer they use is putting out throws that are easily on par with manufactured plastic. Shoot, the white yoyo feels like Delrin!
And don’t get me started on the two wooden looking throws, I believe they actually are printed with some type of wood mixture.
My many thank yous for making such awesome functional art.
You literally just got 2 of my grails in the mail today… nice, dude!
How’s that 3dRBC? Looks like it would be a hoot!

Aaand, I just committed 2 of the 7 deadly sins
