What did you get in the mail, 2024?

How do you find them if you could compare them to a Flawless or any other 4As you have used?

Thanks @JosiahR !

@EYD_Nami
I haven’t personally tried the Flawless, but I’ve used a bunch of the Japan Technology 4A line, the iYoYo Unlimited, YYR Arazu, Ace-Yo Vamos, C3 Contrail, and Magicyoyo T2 and overall it’s a really good yo-yo. It plays most similarly to the JT x sOMETHiNG JetSet given its virtually identical diameter and somewhat similar weight, but the different material (PC vs. POM), shape (a bit more rounded and flared out since it’s wider), and steel weight rings bring a lot of uniqueness to it. The proportion of diameter to width combined with the slightly more rounded shape make it very comfortable in the and and on the catch. It plays faster than most 4a yoyos I’ve used, and responds very easily to different kinds of movements, especially when it comes to soloham or different 4a hop tricks. It feels pretty light, but most likely due to the weight rings, it’s quite stable with really strong spin time, particularly during soloham and is very good at correcting tilt during soloham rolls. Like the JetSet, the Boundless wants to fly back towards you when you do your initial throw and catch or the second yoyo throw for soloham, whereas yoyos like the Unlimited tend to want to fly forward or upward on those throws, and may need you to adjust your technique slightly to make sure it comes back to land in your mount (not necessarily a pro or con, just depends on your preferences and technique. I like this tendency personally). Overall I really like it and will likely make a more in-depth review of it as I have more time with it! It is pricier than other 4a yoyos I’ve used but it definitely is a step up in performance, and does exactly what you tell it to so that’s been super nice. Hope that helps!

JT FGAL is awesome. Definitely one of the best monos I’ve played, if not the best.

Couldn’t possibly agree more with you Nikita.

How’s it compare to the fgti?

Yes!!! I agree. Actually the recent batch of monos Ive got have been incredible. Loving the FgAl, Tomo and Encore.

Im away from home for a week and these are what I brought with me

Not sure about the Fgti but threw the fractal for a while and loved it. FgAl is similar in play, very maneuverable and quick but maybe the fractal had a touch more power.

Yoyofactory Black Friday deal. Hint: Has little Angel Wings on the rim

Beautiful throw, but also, that’s a very comfy looking spoon.

I have a love hate relationship with the deep state, but i like it more with the spike.

Deep state is responsive, and the Black Canon is a really sweet slim unresponsive. Ive been using my slim jim unresponsive once in a while but its better responsive, so the vlack canon fits the bill just right.

Not sure which hubstack i like best yet, and i suspect i need ti shorten the string s but from where I currently have it. I just got it so getting it set up just right will take me a bit.

lemme guess the profile, is it the same shape as edge?

Yes it’s a v shape. Also approximately 56grams in weight.

Edit1: Checked the weight again since it didn’t feel right. Replaced batteries in scale and appears to be approximately 66 grams. Unless my scale is just messing with me

So far I’m liking this release

wait 56 grams? is it a bit too lite?

So far I’m not having any issues with some longer combos. But I’ll need more time to confirm.
