Speedaholic MN. A mono metal version of one of my favorite throws ever? Yes please. The only reason I don’t throw my Speedy XX more (other than the Connection, Emotion, Oasis, Assassin and Top Deck ) is because I wish it was metal. Just something about it. Still fantastic, best fingerspinner ever and an easy recommendation, especially at $28.
The MN is an outstanding reimagining in metal and keeps all of the XX traits intact. Good spin time, stable, and moves just like the XX.
I’m not replacing the DDs, but it’s in the rotation, and if there are any requests for first unresponsive, first metal, good mono, etc…this one is my new recommendation. Great job C3!
I’m enjoying it a lot! The closest comparison I have may be the SF Motive - light in hand, feels good and solid on the string, but more rounded and playful. It feels more like an EDC to me.
The Yo Yo Museum description says that the string was fixed to the axle, so maybe it was never meant to sleep. If that’s the case, though, why does it appear to have the forerunners of schmoove rings?
