Nice. Thanks for taking the time to do that. I been curious because for some of my responsive I prefer thinner but I wasn’t sure if the aceyo were considered regular or fat. They look really similar to the monkey vine phat. Appreciate it.
Thanks @IMArocketman for my first delivery of strings! These colors just look so good.
I was fortunate enough to be one of the lucky few that were able to get a Kamuraiju in One Drop’s new Pearl White Cerakote finish. I don’t know how to describe the finish, but wow is it beautiful. It looks white, of course, but there are loads of tiny shimmery specks of different colors that reflect the surroundings. I haven’t managed to capture that in a photo, which is really frustrating since the effect is right there before my eyes. As you’d expect, the finish looks really good with several colors of side effects, but I’ve decided to start with blue flat caps.

For folks who are considering buying it, I have to warn you that this throw is 66.0g instead of 65.0g. So if you are sensitive to the weight (like me), think twice.
On the first throw it does feel heavier than I expected. However. after getting used to it, I have to say it plays amazing. It’s like an onslaught with some additional control & stability, but not as heavy and reluctant as the BAE. It merges the advantages from the two ancestors.
So if I knew it’s actually 66g I probably won’t get it. But after receiving it, I do not regret at all…
They just arrived!
I asked @wayne927 for a set of achromatic color schemed Layer Infinity Kasms and they came out incredibly awesome. Wayne has 3D printing down to a mastery level. He also went above and beyond to involve my opinions and wishes in dailing in the perfect (not-)colors and background for the cap pattern. I couldn’t be happier with the end result. I also got a 3D printed adjustable stand as a gift (for the big order) which is oh so nice to display those throws. Thanks very much @wayne927. I highly appreciate it
The Kasms play like a dream. The surface of the 3D print feels so nice in the hand. Smooth but still with a slightly tactile feel to it because of the printed layers. The response is snappy but yet smooth, precise and perfectly predictable. The weight is also perfect and the Kasm flips effortlessly during Kickflips and Varials. The high walls with the large recess around the bearing seat allow for perfectly locked in stalls while still being able the throw the Yo-Yo out without the string being snagged up in the gap. The said inner profile also helps enormously to keep the loop open for suicide tricks. I know I keep gushing here in superlatives but the Kasm out of all my modern responsive plastic throws is the most capable and also the most gorgeous one…just a piece of throwable art!
I really want to step into one of these but they don’t show as available. Did he make them to order?
@Shwa
I initially wrote him asking if I could have a Kasm with black caps. He responded ultra fast and was willing to make it happen. If I remember correctly though @wayne927 mentioned to make a new run in the near future.
Missed out on the Cerakote due to work so I drowned my woes in gold.
UPDATE: Cerakote acquired thanks @Grantw1019 you’re a real one.
After a long long search for one, I finally was able to acquire a RCS/DocPop PopArt. Thank you so much @Thruwell for selling it to me. Totally worth the shipping cost.
Woohoo they’re arrived!!
I do custom orders from time to time, depending on what else I’m making at the moment. So feel free to PM me! And yes, there will be more Kasms in the future.
if i didnt know any better i’d say those looked like yoyos =]
Ill take the sticker!
