Finger spins are some of my favorite tricks, so I’ve been really looking forward to the Yoyo Friends Paragraph. The dimples and cups are significantly less concave than the Speedaholic’s, so based on my first few throws I’d say that it’s more difficult to hit the sweet spot when the yoyo is spinning perfectly horizontally (with the cups parallel to the ground). But when the yoyo is angled, even by just a few degrees, I can land my finger anywhere in the cup and it slides right into the dimple and spins nicely!

I also got my Paragraph in today! I had similar hopes for fingerspin ease as @Xymantix. It’s definitely not as easy to lock in as I expected , but its also not all that difficult. Finger spins nice once its locked in though. The yoyo plays so good though, super fun overall and sure to be a mainstay in the rotation.

That’s an important point that I completely forgot to mention! Yoyo prices have seemingly been rising steadily over the last several months, so it was really nice to see a new offering from a top-notch brand being priced so reasonably.

I noticed that too. I hate when there’s no profile shot of a yoyo. Looks like a great throw for 30 bucks. That acid wash one is sick. Another on the want list. How’s it play?

Couldn’t resist any longer, I was looking at the 28 Stories sitting in stock for a few days and bought into the hype! It had to be this colorway for me, I LOVE this color combo and I’m just not a big fan of navy blue or hulk smash. The blue/green fade one is cool too but I like 28s WAY more. @SR1’s passion for this thing infected me and I am discovering that the hype is real. I have thrown this like 5 times and it feels so good. I had to make matching string of course. Probably gonna ultra grey this and the Annihilation tonight!

This was quite nice to wake up to. 
Picked up a couple special edition Fh1’s I was missing, my 512gb SteamDeck RMA replacement arrived in two days, and this lot and case of 6 yo-yos I got for trading an ‘08 Nats gold marble hydrodipped yyj Xconvict.(2nd pic)
That gold black xcon was a bit of a grail for me and the other guy as well and he made it hard to refuse, so I now have an ‘09 WYYC Silver Marble Hydrodipped Xconvict along with that lot.

The Mk1 unicorn. Never thought I would need a yo-yo that can play as a top but here we are and I’m all for it.
A butterfly style whirlygig it’s cheaper feeling than my imperial style which is a shame.
A DD 5050 the shakes neat and the smaller size is nice I never noticed but I’m digging the little spikes

Have been super stoked about this mailday coming for awhile now! As most of you know by now, the Klondike is my fav throw ever, and I was thinking to myself… if I were somehow able to get a clear and unengraved version (my fav colorway/preference) of the Klondike, that would be absolutely endgame for me. Then I remembered the protos Steve posted awhile back were clear and unengraved, so I reached out to him on the off chance that he might have an extra one to sell, and here we are!
