If you’ve got a bike pump (and hearing protection, it’s loud), pop out the caps on the FH1 AL. That should remove like 6-7 grams from the outer edge of the yoyo. Should be much more Quail-like after that.

Each AL cap is ~6.2g so that helped drop the weight from ~65.5g to ~53, lighter than the quail (60.9g), but still a really a good player and much quieter

Oh sheesh, I completely forgot the AL caps were that heavy. I must’ve been thinking of the plastic caps, those are like 3g each.
That super light weight with the A bearing sounds really fun though. I really enjoyed the Quail when I got a chance to play one.
Will have to post pix later but a One Drop Thorn and General Yo Torrent arrived today.
