So here I am, trying to do the Wright’ thing.
And just taking for ‘Granted’ it would come out without a hitch………
But some Creep decided to Photobomb the scenery😳

Those red Creeps look amazing. Are they (still) sold somewhere?
They are all sold out I believe. I think there was only about 125? They look even better in person.
Red Creeps are still available on the Heaven Sent website! It’s the last run/colorway they’re doing, I’d snag one now if you haven’t.
I did!
moving like a true king!!
stupid fomo made me order a creep just now… i hate you guys, lol.
Easily one of the very best yoyo buying decisions you have ever made.
Thanks Doc, that’s high praise coming from a legend like yourself!
Well, thanks…… but a few caveats to temper that compliment.
I am only an average skills player.
If I was the only person to enter a Yo-yo Contest, I would probably place 2nd.
But, that being said, I’ve been rolling literally hundreds of yo-yos down the strings for about 26 years. I’m guessing that just the sheer number of yoze I’ve thrown and evaluated while comparing what all designers were trying to achieve…. Helped me develop a better grasp of ‘maaaan this is good/wow, this is bad’.
I have very few yo-yos that I ‘don’t really like for one reason or another:too heavy to be fun, seriously Ugly, way too wide, way too narrow, really high walls, pulsating vibe, SHARP RIMS, etc.
But most modern yo-yos are pretty much really good, with some features just stronger than others, but still all good fun.
Some yo-yos just ‘INSTANTLY’ put a smile on my face. Some yo-yos, to me, just crack the Code. The Code> being that recipe of factors that come together and result in a yo-yo that is Waaaay better than it needs to be.
….A few weeks back, Mhoodlum posted up several yo-yos. He always sells good yo-yos, so I scrolled down his list. On the list was a red Creep. I have a bunch of Organic shapes already, so I moved on, knowing the red Creep would last about 15 Minutes and life goes on.
A few days later, while visiting the forum, I noticed his BST again and the Creep was still there. I’m not even a red yo-yo kinda guy, lol. But I liked the theme and I liked the little skull and the ‘The End’ engraving, etc. So, I contacted Matt and asked him to send me an invoice.
A few days later, the mailman tossed a little box up on the porch. I brought it in the house and put it on the center bookshelf and went about things already in progress.
A day or two later I decided to actually open up the box. As I opened the box, I glanced where it came from. Matt……. Lol… it’s the Creep🤓
Took it out, beautiful. I put a Platinum string on it and gave it a few tosses. I realized immediately, this wasn’t a ‘honeymoon period’ yoyo. < (you know, one of the yo-yos you like and them a week later you can’t wait to get rid of it, lol).
The Creep is not a bi-metal. It’s not a Tri-metal. It’s not Titanium. It’s not a V shape. It’s not a Dynamic Powerhouse. It’s not any kinda exotic aluminum alloy with a magical dust finish. It doesn’t have a finger spin dimple. It doesn’t have a thumb grind rim. Etc……
What the Creep does have is harder to clearly define. As soon as I started throwing mine, I understood…… it’s soooo good
Tell me more about this string…
Lovely photos of that wave! Still get excited every time I see one posted here.
Really tempted to get this. It’s difficult to decide to spend that much on a yoyo. But I might just have to do it. How is it?
