Interesting, it could also have to do with the anodize bath; time, if it was allowed to etch into the surface. Just a guess, though, I am not a “finisher”. I’m not aware of any blasted Kamuraijus but maybe!
Not blasted, but clear usually has the most “blast like” finish. Also, the Pyramatte has gotten better in recent years it seems.
Pardon my ignorance, but what is ultra-grey’d?
The future!
Dang! Mine still says waiting acceptance. I want it so bad!
Ultra Grey silicone for response pads! I just love how binds feel with it. Secure but not snappy or snaggy. It’s my favorite “pads” for unresponsive yoyos.
I see the ultra grey thread is spilling into other parts of the forum.
This is a super fun one. Nice and floaty feeling while still maintaining plenty of power and stability. I can see this staying in my current lineup for the foreseeable future.
Didn’t quite arrive in the mail, but this last Friday I had my third visit to One Drop! David, Shawn, and Andrew remain the coolest dudes in the game. Picked up a color shift cerakote Wyvern and this beautiful baby blue cerakote Fat Tire 20/20:
Also— don’t really know where else to put this— I spent a year and a half or so up in Portland animating on Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, and a couple of months ago we won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. I finally got back up there this weekend and got to take my picture with the Oscar and a bunch of other statues we won. Given that I always have a throw on me, I did what anyone would do in my situation:
Pinocchio was a masterpiece, thank you for your efforts toward making it exist!
Love the colorshift, and that baby blue fat tire is especially gorgeous. I want one!
That is totally beyond amazing! It was an awsome film! I’m blown away by stop motion animation!
God I had one of those gameboy cases growing up, haven’t seen one of those in forever.
What is the Antarctica? Is that a bi-metal Titanic?
Kind of yeah.
So nice!!
I’m sorry, I hated that remake of a classic animated film that didn’t need to be remade,. But Love that photo.
Have a nice day!!!
